Metamorphika carenyena amphorae
Carignen natural red wine fermented in amphorae and subsequently aged in amphorae, made with minimal intervention and without added sulphites.
Viticulture and Vinification:
It comes from a vineyard of about 65 years, with llicorella soil and a Mediterranean climate.
No use of pesticides, herbicides or inorganic fertilizers.
Manual harvest. Selection of the manual grape grain by grain. Depressed.
The must partially ferments in contact with skins for several weeks in amphorae at a controlled temperature of 18 to 25º. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Aged in amphorae for 8 to 12 months.
Very deep ruby purple color. Savory and deep fruited on the nose with hints of blood oranges, wild herbs, dried meat and earth. Very rich and savory on the palate with hints of oranges, figs and lightly roasted pistachios
