Viticulture and Vinification:
The vineyards are located in the village of Kortezubi, a little old town in Bizkaia, famous for its prehistoric caves which form a Unesco World Heritage Site. The vineyard soil is composed of calcareous clay.
Manual harvest, plant cover, biodynamic cultivation and permaculture
It is the product of a manual selection of the best grapes from the best and oldest vines on the property. In this way the character of the grape and the soil can be perfectly expressed.
Maceration of the grape with skins in Padilla’s jars for 20 days. Subsequently it is transferred to a used 500L French oak barrel where it remains 7 months. Minimal intervention, without filtering and without clarification. Not certified organic.
Marko Skin shows aromas of grapefruit, bitter orange, citrus. Complex wine, with good acidity, tannin present, smooth and with a good finish. Guard wine without a doubt
