

Red wine aged 18 months in American oak barrels
Elaboration:
Vineyard from the three areas of Rioja (Alta, Media and Baja), with an age of more than 70 years. Own vineyard and sandstone soil.
Green harvest (Selection of bunches in search of those that have the best organoleptic conditions and the best health status of the bunches), manual harvest, transfer to the winery in trailers of 3,500 Kg.
Whole grape incubation in stainless steel tank, intracellular alcoholic fermentation, for 16 days at low temperature. Malolactic in 10 days and it is transferred to American oak barrels in which it remained for 18 months, undergoing 3 racking, clarified with egg white and bottled after light filtration.
Tasting Notes:
Sight: Intense cherry red color, with bluish edges and aging. Upper middle layer with abundant tearing. Clean and shiny.
Nose: Aromas of ripe red fruits, floral and balsamic, well assembled with aromas of vanilla, toasted, spicy and phenolic, very complex and intense.
Palate: It is fleshy and powerful, the bitter, acidic, sweet and salty sensations are compensated, with a slight edge in acidity and bitterness, which gives it life. Intense and long finish. Powerful aftertaste, towards fruit and varietal aromas.
