

A classic O Rosal wine, made with Albariño, Caiño blanco and Loureiro. Citrus, flowers and balsamic reminiscent of the wines that were once made in this region
Viticultura and Vinification:
Vimbio is their namesake cuvée comes from three parcels on clay soils, primarily Albariño with the rare and nearly extinct Caiño Branco added for acidity, and a bit of Loureiro for fruit and spice. Grapes were hand-harvested and whole-cluster pressed immediately before undergoing fermentation and lees-aging in stainless steel tanks, stirred regularly only for the first three months. The finished wine was bottled without fining, and with a light filtration and minimal added SO2.
Tasting notes:
Vimbio is expressed with memories of acid apple, citrus, fennel and balsamic laurel and wild mint. In mouth fresh and wide, evoking the wines that were made in the Rosal years ago.
